To communicate complex planning policies and consultation information in a clear, accessible and engaging format for residents, stakeholders and decision-makers.
Castle Point Borough Council appointed me to design a suite of publications and consultation materials supporting the development of the Local Plan.
The project included the design of the 120-page Issue & Options document, a concise public-facing snapshot booklet, roller banners and supporting materials for community engagement. Later stages of the project included the 220-page Regulation 19 Draft and ongoing work towards the Castle Point Plan 2026–2043.
A key requirement was to transform highly technical planning information into visually clear and accessible documents that supported public consultation while remaining fully aligned with the Council's brand guidelines.
