CASTLE POINT COUNCIL

Castle Point Council, invited me to tender for this long term project. Which would involve the design and print, at each stage of the development of their District Plan. A go-to resource for the areas investment and development plans.

Starting with an Issue & Options Document, outlining the Councils foreseen issues, needs and proposed plans for the district.  A tool with which the public can engage and have their say on the proposed future of their county.

I began with designing options for the first few pages, adhering to the Councils brand guidelines, fonts and colour pallets provided.  

On presenting the options to the team and receiving their feedback, I developed a layout template for the document, set the copy, creating bespoke, charts, graphs and tables to illustrate key points.

Along with sourcing imagery to work with the documents 100 pages of content, creating a professional, interesting and visually appealing final product, which the public can view on-line or visit a library / council location to read a printed hardcopy of the document. 

Roller banners were designed, printed and placed in strategic locations to advertise the release of the plan and encourage the public to have their say. This was accompanied with a 12pp snap-shot booklet.

Several other resource documents provided by the council were made print ready and produced to sit with the hardcopies of the printed plan in libraries and council locations.
