Following an initial meeting with the director and sales team at Sportstiks®, it was clear they needed some outside support.
They had no marketing materials to speak of, a logo and a colour palette, a limited amount of event imagery, a website in the throws of being built.
The company had grown quicker than expected due to its innovative products, the launch of their waterproof tattoos and exposure at several top sporting events including the Olympics.
New client enquiries were piling up and the sales and marketing team were under pressure to get a marketing suite put together, to aid their communications and marketing activities.
On top of this they were also in-undated with new event orders and they were struggling to fulfil product orders in-house for these time sensitive events.
• Create a marketing suite to aid sales and marketing activities, starting with the development of an A4 folder which would house their marketing packs. Exploring potential design solutions that would express the companies visual identity and brand clearly. Experimenting with styling, graphical elements and incorporating key event photography.
• Create brand guideline and rollout the developed identity across all touch points.
• Promote consistency throughout the business and its communication materials.
• Brand management, quality control and consultation for any design work produced by the in-house Sportstiks® team.
• Artworking support for the upsurge in product orders.
• Design development and template/cutter guide creation for new athletics product releases.
Through the design and development of Sportstiks® marketing suite I built a stronger identity and with more comprehensive guidelines in place.
